Who We Are

Founded in 2015 by Alan Morrissey, Alectric Renewables has supplied and installed 150 MW of solar PV, with more than 2.5 GW under development.

Our team of solar energy experts has over 6-decades of combined experience in system design, performance monitoring and engineering with construction project management in the delivery of grid-connected solar PV and net metering services.

Alan Morrissey
CEO
Alan Morrissey is the Chief Executive Officer of Alectric Renewables. He holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from the Limerick Institute of Technology in Ireland. Alan has accumulated over 10 years of solar experience including solar development, PV system design, racking design and installation of over 50MW’s worldwide. Alan has managed the construction of hundreds of residential and commercial solar projects in Europe, Canada, USA, Central & South America
Robert Morrissey
VP, Operations
Robert is an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. Skilled in Construction Management, Costing, Financial Risk, Risk Management, and Financial Analysis. Strong program and project management professional with a Bachelor of Business Studies focused in Accounting and Finance from University of Limerick.
Stephen James Kerr
VP, Projects
Stephen is a sales and marketing professional with more than 26 years of experience in the telecommunications and renewable energy sectors. Working in Canada, the USA and Eastern Europe, Stephen specializes in helping startups grow into mature businesses. His efforts include opening up new revenue streams and business units, as well as helping organizations improve their internal processes.
Paul Green
VP, Engineering
Paul Green is Alectric Renewables’ VP Electrical Engineering. He has engineered hundreds of commercial and utility scale solar PV projects in Ontario under the FIT program, and continues to engineer our net metered solar projects.

Yes, clients have full access to real time performance and monitoring data

What kind of support do you offer if something goes wrong?

We provide an O&M Agreement which describes the Service Level agreed to between the client and ourselves. We guarantee a response time to technical faults based on the agreed upon Service Level / 24 hours / 48 hours, or other, depending. Often technical issues can be resolved via remote access to the inverter’s software.
